That house would retain some of the same scenes and scares from this one, but would mostly use different fairy tales and nursery rhymes.Įnter an abandoned carnival attraction and find yourself in a nightmarish fairytale world where there's never a happy ending. It would also get a sequel the following year with Scary Tales II. The house proved to be very popular with guests and was even the first house ever to be awarded with House of the Year. Soundstage 22 is one of the smaller soundstage facilities designed to be used as filming locations for movies and television shows. The house would be one of two haunted houses located in Soundstage 22, with the other being Pitch Black. Other than the name of the house, the theme and story seemed largely unchanged. However, due to the 9/11 terrorist attacks, the word "Terror" became an inappropriate word to use as the name of an attraction. Terror Land would be set in an abandoned carnival attraction where the animatronics (based on fairy tales) turned evil. But if the gameplay works correctly, you will be waiting for the hours of clear and vivid graphics, spooky music, great storyline and interesting revelations. In the original concept for Halloween Horror Nights XI, there was going to be a haunted house featured at the event titled Terror Land. Weird Park - Broken Tune is a nice game that has many good sides, but unfortunately, the gameplay is a bit flawed. Graphics are crystal clear and crispy in Weird Park - Broken Tune, and music is spooky and scary, it brings holidays like Halloween to life, you can feel the atmosphere, but it isn’t spectacular. There is also another bug here, with the puzzles ending prematurely, but you cannot do much about that, just like with hidden object scenes. you will not be challenged by simple and common puzzles and mini games like sliding puzzles, jigsaws and association games. At least as puzzles and mini games are concerned, you are not up for surprises. It might be an in-game bug, or something else, but you will lose a lot of time waiting for it to respond. If you ever get stuck, and it is very probable that you will, you may want to use the hint system, but beware, as you might be completely “ignored” by it, for whichever reason. What makes it even more annoying is that there is a lot of backtracking, which means redoing so many scenes, and sometimes you are not sure which. Hidden Object scenes are numerous and overall interesting, based on textual lists, but the greatest problem with those Hidden Object scenes is that you’ll play so many of them in a very short and connected period of time. Hidden Object scenes will take you through the theme park. The gameplay in Weird Park - Broken Tune is incredibly simple, and not in a bad way, but it might be a bit too easy for some hardcore Hidden Object game lovers who want to be challenged. So, even it feels like it has been done so many times, the storyline might be very interesting, it is up to you to decide. Or is “like” unnecessary? During your whole adventurous journey, you will be accompanied by both a very small joker, that looks like he wants to slow your progress down, and haunted by the ghost of the deceased clown, whose intentions you are not able to figure out as soon as the game starts. This amusement park has a very ominous past and a very untidy, grey appearance, because all went to waste once the main clown doing his act on the trapeze died during the act in the circus. Weird Park - Broken Tune is a Hidden Object game which has a very nice and a bit original plot although it has a bit unoriginal premise and it goes like this: You are in the role of a detective who has to find a certain John who is missing and last seen in an old and forgotten amusement park.
